IRANIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY
MAYBE THIS TIME
In 1979, a radical, Islamic “death cult” took control of the modern, western-leaning nation of Iran. The women of Iran were once again enslaved under Sharia law and a religious police state asserted its power. Today the nation of Iran is an international pariah and the primary sponsor of Islamic terror in the World.
On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas launched the most brutal and savage war of rape, killing and enslavement of Jews since the Holocaust. Hamas in Palestine is a proxy for Iran along with Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen. All three proxies have been sending missiles into the civilian population of Israel as well as some American military sites. The Israeli and American response has been to eliminate the launch sites and negotiate for the return of hostages.
According to former U.S. Navy lieutenant commander, medical doctor and the co-founder of the Muslim Reform Movement, Zuhdi Jasser, “I know there is only one path to victory in the Middle East: The complete and unconditional surrender by Hamas and the Palestinian people. Hamas proclaimed, celebrated and videotaped their brutality [on October 7th]. Hamas’ genocidal hate for Jews and Israel runs deep. Hamas practices a theo-political interpretation of my faith known as "Islamism," or political Islam, believing in a theocratic state. It is a [death] cult that hates individual liberties and free enterprise, spawned from the Muslim Brotherhood, born in Egypt in the 1920s and similar to the ideology of Ayatollah Khomeini, who led the Iranian Revolution of 1979.
According to Christian pastor Michael Youssef, “. . . the leaders of Iran are committed to a death-cult ideology—and to a nuclear showdown with Western civilization. . . Islam is divided into several sects, most notably Sunnis and Shiites. In 1501, the Safavid rulers of the Persian Empire declared Twelver Shiite Islam the official state religion, distinguishing Persia from its Sunni neighbors. After Persia was renamed Iran in 1935, Twelver Shiism remained the official faith . . .
Twelver Shiism is the largest branch of Shia Islam and is defined by its belief in twelve divinely ordained Imams (rightful successors to Muhammad). The last Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, supposedly went into occultation (a miraculously hidden state) in the 9th century. Twelvers claim the Mahdi will one day reappear to establish global justice. Many of Iran’s clerics fervently believe that, before the Mahdi can be revealed, an apocalyptic battle must be fought between faithful Muslims and the forces of evil. As a result, some Iranian leaders—and possibly the Ayatollah himself—are motivated to trigger a nuclear war to fulfill the ancient prophecies and force the appearance of the hidden Mahdi. The Iranian clerics have made their goal clear: ‘Death to Israel! Death to America!’”
And Death to the physical World through a global nuclear holocaust.
So, you would think the modern World would support the efforts of Israel and the United States to de-fang the Iranian nuclear threat. Working together, Israel and the US have removed that nuclear threat, at least for a while. It was in the World’s best interest. Now you would think that the United Nations would support that goal. But here is the response from the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, “I am gravely alarmed by the use of force by the United States against Iran today. This is a dangerous escalation in a region already on the edge – and a direct threat to international peace and security.” But Iran is the threat to peace, not Israel or the United States. The United Nations is a worthless organization, and we should leave it to whither on its “vine of corruption.”
There will be no peace until the radical Islamic death cult is fully rejected by the people of Iran. The regime is evil to its core and must be overcome through the courage of a free Iranian people. Helping them should be the role of the United Nations, not chastising Israeli and American warriors who may have just saved the whole World.
