In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, Michael Shellenberger commented that he was, in fact, a journalist. Tucker nodded his head in agreement. Shellenberger is an American author who has focused on politics, the environment, climate change and nuclear power, as well as more recently on how he believes Progressivism is linked to homelessness as well as a host of other ills. He is a former far-left radical from a family of progressives. His research and observations have led to his conversion to common sense and Christianity. He even made a run at the governorship of California. He had no chance, but he obviously wanted to make a statement. Good for him.
But he did say that humans are increasing the CO2 in the atmosphere and that is causing global warming, climate change, more severe weather, and rising seas. He doesn’t think there will be a climate catastrophe. He even wrote a book about that. He says we need to use more fossil fuels including coal while we migrate to nuclear power.
That is good progress for a guy starting out as a far-left activist. Now, about those rising seas . . .
One mind changed, so many more!
