I don’t know where former President George W. Bush is coming from now. I’m an old Army veteran and have had a fondness for W for years. His painting of heroes was endearing to many, his bike riding with disabled vets was inspiring. He protected the Nation from attack for nearly eight years. But now, what are those who admired him most, those he sent to war on behalf of the Nation, what do they think now? He should have directed his ire at BLM, Antifa and the Democratic Party, not the American Heartland. That I could understand, but this? This is petty, demeaning and unworthy of a past President of the United States.
From Page 8 of HEARTLAND RISING: The Defense of American Values
“The event of January 6, 2021 at the Nation’s capitol was not an insurrection. It was a social media-fueled protest that was hijacked by a few individuals. To call that an insurrection while ignoring the damage done by BLM and Antifa all summer 2020 and even as it continues in Portland, Oregon is disingenuous. To place the Capitol behind razor wire with National Guard troops on the perimeter is an over-reaction and political theater. Hunting down those few Capitol protestors while ignoring the large number of BLM/Antifa protest organizers has been a departure from Equal Justice under the Law. And it has not gone unnoticed by the Heartland.
The nation’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies have lost credibility with We the People as a result of the Russian Collusion hoax initiated by those very agencies. Fifty of those past agency heads even tried to cover up the dubious activity of the Biden family captured on Hunter Biden’s laptop by issuing a statement saying it was all “Russian disinformation.” The old saying, “fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me” comes to mind. A two-tier legal system is not going to be tolerated and the rejection will come in 2022 at the ballot box. And these ballots will be watched closely. That will set the table for 2024.”
