So here we go. While California plans to eliminate fossil-fueled vehicles by 2030, Wyoming decides to ban electric vehicles by 2030. The California doctrine is pure politics. The Wyoming plan is theoretically designed to protect that state’s fossil fuel industry. So, who is right?
The climate change hucksters have managed to force the US auto manufacturers to commit significant capital towards building electric vehicles before there is a functional national charging grid. They have also pressured public utilities to shut down coal-fired power plants and eliminate residential natural gas service, even curtailing gas ovens, cook-tops and furnaces. But there is no replacement plan.
The touted renewable sources, solar and wind, are not up to the task. In fact, they are a drag on grid reliability and a net loss in the overall energy balance. All the subsidies being directed towards solar and wind will not change those facts. The taxpayers will never get a return on their renewables investment. Coal, natural gas and nuclear are necessary to provide the power for any plan to electrify vehicles, residences and small business. Fossil fuels and nuclear are also required to support manufacturing and agriculture. There are no alternatives in spite of the claims of the jet-setting Davos climate change elites.
Fossil fuels require massive capital investments to explore, develop and operate. But capital investment in the industry has been restricted by the absurd Environmental Social Governance criteria that originated out of BlackRock and has permeated into the investment criteria of other financial firms and major banks. While most of these firms have a fiduciary responsibility to many state and government pension funds, they have betrayed their shareholders in order to be “environmentally woke.” Many major corporations have followed suit, including the fossil fuel industry. Nuclear power has been essentially criminalized by government and demonized by the mainstream media. But it will eventually become the primary energy source in spite of all the notoriety and public misconceptions.
So what is going to happen? In the long term, the energy market will force the issue. The Biden Administration’s war on the American fossil fuel industry is the primary cause of increased inflation. We must have a reliable and affordable source of energy to survive as a sovereign nation of free people. The Green New Deal is a push for socialism and will fail as long as Americans remain free. The question is then, how long will it take for the fallacies of the Green New Deal to be exposed? That depends on just one thing—an honest press.
And today we have an anti-American, pro-socialism mainstream media. Based on their leftist bias, they do not deserve the protections provided by the First Amendment. But deserved or not, they have those protections. To truly earn them, the mainstream media must begin to report the facts about the climate, beginning with “There is no climate catastrophe. The earth has continued to warm since the Little Ice Age with some release of Carbon Dioxide from the oceans and the burning of fossil fuels. These additional greenhouse gases have raised the average global temperature slightly. The temperature rise has increased plant growth and has been beneficial, not harmful.” That’s the truth and it’s time for NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN and PBS to report the facts and disconnect from the political establishment. If they don’t, then they have betrayed the Nation that provided for their very existence. They are supposed to be a check on an over-arching government, not a part of that government. Get it?
Liars, lairs, lairs. Just another way they are slowly destroying our country. Inflation created by misdirection.
"The Biden Administration’s war on the American fossil fuel industry is the primary cause of increased inflation. We must have a reliable and affordable source of energy to survive as a sovereign nation of free people." -- you are so right. Praying that the 2024 election will bring a patriotic and rational Republican president back into power.
